Key Account Sales Support

Your Role The Key Accounts Sales Support is responsible for supporting and assisting the outside sales team in a designated region/territory. The Key Accounts Sales Support is responsible for providing sales support as well as maintaining and updating CRM sales related information including samples, opportunities, product variance comments, forecast notes, marketing intelligence, and call summaries. The Key Accounts Sales Support will also interact with customers. The main focus is to assist the sales team so they can spend more time in front of customers. Responsibilities Sales Support Processes sample requests Follows up on samples Assists with next steps and action items Assists with key supplier focus programs or new product introductions (i.e., helps identify potential new customers and/or additional product introductions with existing customers) Develops working knowledge of the top 10 customers for each salesperson and assist the sales team in further development of those accounts Assists sales team in scheduling appointments Assists with vendor requests Data management, reporting, and analysis Assists in tracking Special Pricing Requests (SPR) business pull through Helps track and assists with the execution of sales growth plans Assists with implementing an efficient and effective call report system in which the call report is dictated by the sales team if possible Assists with Gross Profit (GP) percentage tracking and in the proactive correction of declining profits where possible (i.e., identifies and makes sales team aware of trends) Ensures compliance with all company policies and all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to: Brenntag Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust Compliance Policy, Confidentiality Agreement, DOL, EEOC etc. Supports the vision and mission of the company. Your Profile Skills Language Skills Read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, basic reports, procedure manuals, and scientific and technical journals. Read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and/or other complex documents. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community. Effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, customers, managers, and/or other employees. Reasoning Ability Solve practical problems. Solve complex problems. Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volumes Interpret a variety of basic oral and written instructions. Interpret a variety of complex oral and written instructions. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
