Freelance Biostatistician - Clinical Outcomes Analysis for Addiction Treatment Research
A large, multi-site addiction treatment provider is seeking an experienced biostatistician to assist with periodic analyses of our extensive clinical database. This is a part-time, project-based role suited for someone with a strong background in clinical data and an interest in contributing to research that informs best practices in addiction treatment.
Project Scope Includes:
Recommending appropriate statistical tests for different research questions (e.g., logistic regression, Poisson regression, chi-squared tests, paired/unpaired t-tests)
Performing statistical analyses on clinical outcomes data
Creating publication-ready graphs and tables
Writing the statistical methods sections of peer-reviewed manuscripts
Ideal Candidate:
Master’s degree (minimum) in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field
2+ years of experience working with clinical or healthcare data
Comfortable with a range of statistical tests and modeling techniques
Strong communication skills—able to explain findings to a non-statistical audience
Experience contributing to or supporting academic manuscripts is a plus
PhD candidates in statistics/biostatistics encouraged to apply
Deliverables:
Statistical output and supporting visualizations
Brief summary of methods and results
Contribution to "Materials and Methods" manuscript sections
