Remote Captioners and Interpreters

Captioner Duties
- Certified captioner with 2 years’ experience captioning and 1 year program management experience scheduling captioners and connecting technology for large agencies or businesses. Must have demonstrated success at other agencies and have the following skills/competencies:
- Ability to work within a changing schedule
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and full understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Interpreter Duties
- Certified interpreter with at least 3 years interpreting experience and 1 year coordinating interpreters for a large and fast paced organization; must have:
- Ability to work within a changing schedule
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong Signing and voicing skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds (customers, colleges, and management)
- Understanding of Deaf culture
