REPORTS TO: Regional Head of HR
STATUS: Exempt/Salaried
LOCATION: Remote, U.S.
SALARY: $55,000-60,000.00 USD (Commensurate with education and
experience)
Purpose of Role
We are seeking an exceptional Regional People Operations (HR) Generalist, US East & Canada who is team-oriented, collaborative, “hands on roll-up their sleeves”, has Workday experience and has high customer service standards. The Regional People Operations (HR) Generalist role will be focused on administering support with HR inquiries, benefits, payroll, and Workday system implementation for a go "live on 1.1.2026 tasks to include but not limited to: data analysis, extraction of data from legacy systems, Workday system maintenance and other tasks associated with a new system implementation, completed in alignment with ISP and school standards. This role will support our shared HR services inbox.
This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment, with many moving pieces, have Workday experience and seeks to ensure they provide a “white-glove” customer service experience for our candidates and employees. In this role, you will be supporting a People Operations (HR) Shared Services with upwards to 1,000 employees in a multi-state environment and growing.
Key Partners to This Role: People Operations Shared Services Team and School Leadership Teams.

- Key Responsibilities
- Provide support with the HRIS platforms as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Act as a first point of contact and provide a stellar “customer experience” in supporting HR inquiries in all disciplines - payroll, benefits, HRSIS updates, etc.
- Serve as a systems Guru in all things Workday systems in supporting the ongoing maintenance and updating of data in the system
- Multi-state experience - understanding the nuances to each states legal requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Human Resources function.
- A minimum of 5+ years of recent and relevant experience across all HR disciplines
- Workday experience preferred. Heave use if Workday and management.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with employees and all levels of management; able to create a working environment of open communication and trust.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of the education industry.
