    Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining an active and unrestricted pharmacist license.
  • Oversee daily prescription processing and dispensing activities following standard operating procedures.
  • Manage pharmacy personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain efficient pharmacy workflows, identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, overseeing the purchase and supply of medications.
  • Address patient order concerns proactively and provide necessary follow-ups.
  • Communicate effectively with staff through verbal and written updates.
  • Monitor and report key operational metrics related to prescription processing.
  • Implement and manage new pharmacy programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with accreditation standards such as URAC, ACHC, and NABP.
  • Participate in regulatory agency inspections and ensure adherence to all required standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
    Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, shipping/receiving clerks, and interns.
  • Handle recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee development.
  • Foster a positive work culture and ensure high team performance.
    Qualifications:
  • Licensed Pharmacist in Kansas.
  • Minimum of two years of pharmacist experience.
  • One year of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Experience in retail or mail-order pharmacy preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of 340B programs is a plus.
    Education:
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
