Job description: Job Summary:
The Inventory Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering data electronically including inventory counts
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains database by entering new and updated inventory information.
- Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Enters inventory data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
- Creates cycle counts
- Electronically manages moves, adjustments, transfers including bin transfers
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Hours & Classification:
The Inventory Data Clerk will generally work Monday to Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with some weekend work possible. This role is classified as non-exempt
- Requirements
- Organizational skills
- Accurate typing skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Word,
- Proficiency in Sage and powerbi is a plus
- Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Data entry experience or related office experience
- Warehouse inventory management experience preferred
