The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U.S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns-both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members-with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support, and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC's Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio, digital, and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by contributions from individuals, organizations, and Democratic Members throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and protecting the House majority.
Position Summary:
The DCCC Internship Program is designed to provide substantial exposure to practical, campaign-style politics on a national level. Interns are placed with varying departments based on interest, availability, and skill set. This is a great opportunity to contribute to House Democratic campaigns and to learn the inner workings of a national political committee.
The DCCC Fall Internship Program will begin on Monday, September 15, 2025 and end on Friday, November 21st, 2025. This position requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week in person at our Washington, DC headquarters for the duration of the internship.
All applications must be submitted by Friday, August 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM ET to be considered for the Fall program.

- Responsibilities Include:
- Perform department-specific tasks, which may include staffing events, conducting research, making Capitol Hill runs, and assisting with short- and long-term projects
- Assist the Operations team by providing excellent customer service and maintaining shared spaces.
- Support other departments as needed, at the direction of the department supervisor or Operations team.
- Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old on or before the first day of the internship.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Capacity to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to helping Democrats regain and protect the House majority.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence-the awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to work effectively with others who are culturally different.
