Sr. Node JS Developer

- Commitment: Part-Time (20 hrs/week) | Full-Time Post-Launch
- Compensation: Equity-Based (20,000–150,000 shares based on performance & milestones)
We’re a fast-growing startup building a high-impact platform and we're looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team. This is an equity-based role, ideal for someone who’s passionate about early-stage innovation, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants real ownership in the product they’re helping to build.
- What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, and performant backend services using Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end and mobile developers (Flutter) to implement features and APIs.
- Write clean, modular, and testable code.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, and code reviews.
- Optimize for scalability and performance as the user base grows.
- What We’re Looking For:
- Must be based in the United States — no exceptions.
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js and backend architecture.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and database integration (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Experience working in startup or agile environments.
- Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
- Bonus: Experience with Flutter or cross-platform development teams.
