Franchise Development Manager
This position will be responsible for signing SONIC Drive-in development commitments throughout the United States, owning the process from cultivating and screening leads to bringing them through the entire qualification process. The individual will devise a sales strategy, deploy localized recruitment plans, and interact with existing franchisees and external franchise candidates.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
- Three (3) years+ franchise development or sales environment
- Strong written and communication skills
- Good business analytical skills including statistical and financial
- Ability to effectively negotiate with small and sophisticated organizations alike
- Understanding of the financial and contractual components of franchise agreements and deal structures
- Knowledge of FDDs, legal aspects of franchising, contract content and construction and industry standards
- Ability to successfully work on teams with diverse individual skill levels and field-based team members
- Ability to multi-task by executing numerous projects with timely follow-through
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel
