Visual Designer (Contract)
We are seeking a talented Visual Designer to craft compelling visuals for our flagship games and marketing channels. The role is a 3–6 month remote contract position with the possibility of renewal.
Requirements
- UI & Marketing Assets: Design and animate promo materials, in-game UI (menus, HUDs, icons, typography), social graphics, banners, key art, and store assets with minimal revisions
- End-to-End Execution: Conceptualize—from wireframes/mockups through final deliverables—high-quality graphic designs in diverse styles, iterating based on sprint feedback and technical constraints
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain cohesive visual guidelines (color palettes, typography, iconography) to ensure consistency across products and channels
- Production Velocity: Estimate and complete tasks within the appropriate velocity for your level, proactively flagging scope or timeline risks
- Feedback & Collaboration: Participate actively in retros, brainstorming, and sprint planning. Apply team and player/community feedback to enhance user experience.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with content designers, game designers, producers, and engineers to ship visuals on time and on budget
- Tool Adoption: Master existing toolset (Animate CC, Illustrator, Photoshop) and learn new software quickly with guidance
