SAP Business Objects Admin/ Developer

ActioNet is looking for a SAP Business Objects Admin/Developer to support one of our contracts under the Civilian Business unit. Position is 100% remote and requires completion of a government background check. Responsibilities include participating in Agile activities, estimating Level of Effort, performing data analysis, and defining solutions for O&M changes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing complex BI 4.3 Universes
  • 8+ years of experience creating advanced complex reports in BI 4.3
  • Experience working with SAP BI 4.3 infrastructure
  • Proven experience with Business Objects Universe Design Tool (UDT)
  • Proven experience with Business Objects Information Design Tool (IDT)
  • Proven experience converting Universes from UDT to IDT
  • Development and management of the SAP BI security model
  • Knowledge of the SAP BI 4.3 architecture and system essentials
  • Troubleshoot and debug any errors occurring in application server environment, application debugging, heap analysis and error doc gathering preferred (i.e Thread dump, heap dump)
  • Must be able to analyze and tune BI server configurations (plug-in, httpd.conf, etc...)
  • Schedule recurring and run ad hoc reports
  • SAP Lumira/ Power BI / Tableau experience
  • Ability to apply strong technical knowledge of features and functions of Business intelligence tools
  • Strong SQL data analysis skills
  • Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Maintenance and development of shell scripts in Bash and Python
  • Will need to be able to available on a scheduled 24/7 weekly on-call support, including weekends
  • Ability to work hybrid schedule as outlined above
