Senior Creative Director – Tobacco & Vape Brands

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Creative Director to lead creative development and brand execution for our portfolio of tobacco and vape products. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in graphic design and brand strategy, who thrives in fast-paced environments and can drive innovative design across multiple product lines.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Leadership: Oversee and evolve the visual identity for multiple tobacco and vape brands. Ensure consistency, innovation, and market relevance.
  • Creative Direction: Lead the ideation and design of product packaging, print collateral, digital media, trade show assets, and in-store marketing materials.
  • Digital Presence: Manage the development of creative assets for websites, social media platforms, and digital advertising.
  • Team Oversight: Supervise and mentor a small team of in-house and freelance designers. Set clear expectations and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, compliance, sales, and manufacturing to align creative output with regulatory requirements and strategic business goals.
  • Project Management: Prioritize and manage multiple projects across brands, ensuring timely execution and high-quality output.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date on design, cultural, and regulatory trends within the tobacco, cannabis, and lifestyle industries.

    Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in graphic design or creative direction, preferably in regulated industries (tobacco, cannabis, alcohol, etc.).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand development, packaging design, and marketing campaigns.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Experience designing for digital (web, email, social) and print (packaging, POS).
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring creative teams.
  • Deep understanding of branding, typography, layout, and design systems.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make strategic creative decisions.
  • Experience working with compliance teams or within regulated markets is a strong plus.

Pay- 50,000 - 60,000 per year
