Software QA Test Lead

Analytica is seeking a Software QA Test Lead to support long term federal client engagements in financial regulatory projects in the DC Metro area. This role will lead quality assurance efforts for modernized cloud-native applications supporting taxpayer account lifecycle processes including return filing, lien issuance, and collections.

The QA Lead will work closely with development teams to test features deployed in an OpenShift and Java enterprise environment, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable performance.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Perform both manual and automated testing using Selenium
  • Conduct regression testing and support defect tracking
  • Validate applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, OpenShift)
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Document results and provide risk-based assessments of quality and readiness
  • Support quality gates across multiple delivery iterations
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • 3+ years’ experience testing enterprise-grade software applications
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium for automated testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development environments
  • Experience testing in cloud or containerized environments (e.g., AWS, OpenShift)
  • Excellent defect reporting and collaboration skills
  • Must have active IRS MBI Clearance.
