EDDM Direct Mail Campaign
We’re an optometry clinic looking to create a multi-page, magazine-style brochure for an Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) campaign. This won’t be a typical postcard or flyer we’re aiming for something that feels premium and story-driven, almost like a boutique eyewear magazine. The goal is to tell the story of our clinic, highlight our services, and showcase the frames we carry in a way that feels engaging, modern, and trustworthy.
We’re looking for someone who can take the lead on both design and content. The brochure will be around 8 to 12 pages and should meet USPS EDDM print requirements. We want it to have a clean, high-end look, while still being warm and relatable. You’ll help write content that reflects our tone informative but friendly, personal but professional. The content will include things like short articles on eye care, feature sections on specific frame styles or brands, and messaging that explains who we are and why patients choose us.
You’ll also work with us to curate the right frame collections to feature. We’ll provide the brands we carry, and we’d love your help choosing which ones to highlight, how to pair them with imagery, and how to tell a short story about the style or lifestyle fit of each. We want the brochure to go beyond just advertising — we want it to feel like a small magazine that patients might want to flip through and keep.
Part of this project will involve helping us choose which neighborhoods or zip codes to target using the USPS EDDM tool. We want this campaign to be as strategic as it is creative, and your input on location targeting will be helpful. If you’re familiar with print vendors, we’d also appreciate your recommendations and support in getting the final brochure files prepared and ready to print, including any layout or formatting requirements.
We may need to jump on a few Zoom calls throughout the process to talk through the direction, review drafts, and collaborate more efficiently. Good communication and the ability to take feedback and run with it are important to us.
