Proposal Development and Business Writing

We are growing fast with a great pipeline of opportunities.
My team is made up of 8 full time proposal writers who submit about 100 proposals a month for state, local and education (SLED) government clients.
I’m looking for someone who can jump in immediately and help keep us running. Key tasks include:
- - Review incoming requests for proposals (RFPs) from education and government clients.
- - Update MS Word proposal templates to match client requirements.
- - Incorporate inputs from other team members.
- - Tailor cover letters, executive summaries, and other proposal elements to address client hot buttons.
- - Monitor proposal schedule and track milestones.
- - Organize final proposal package and prepare for submission.
Some requirements include:
- - Strong writing and research skills.
- - Strong software skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- - Proven experience working in a fast-paced business environment.
- - Awesome attitude and obsessive attention to detail.
- - Good computer with Microsoft Office.
- - Available during normal business hours for meetings and collaboration.
- - Available for at least 20 hours per week to commit to tasks and projects and see them through to completion.
