Job Description:
As a General Education English Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering standards-based English Language Arts curriculum to students at the middle or high school level. You’ll guide students through reading comprehension, literary analysis, writing, and critical thinking exercises that develop communication and analytical skills. Your role will involve creating an inclusive classroom, using differentiated instruction to meet student needs, assessing academic progress, and encouraging student engagement in reading and writing.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must hold a valid Louisiana teaching license with appropriate English Language Arts endorsement(s) for the grade level they will serve. All applicants must pass a background check and meet local and state employment qualifications for public school educators.
