Senior Manager - AI Governance

    Description:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive AI governance framework including policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Establish guidelines to ensure ethical standards, regulations, and industry norms are met in AI management, stewardship, and compliance.
  • Lead multi-functional governance committees and collaborate with legal, compliance, data science, and engineering teams.
  • Coordinate AI privacy and security measures, ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws.
  • Work directly with clients on implementation of programs including collection and documentation of metadata and tool recommendation and implementation.
  • Develop and implement AI quality, integrity, and lineage standards to improve trust and reliability in analytics and artificial intelligence applications.
  • Drive awareness and training initiatives to instill a strong AI governance culture across the organization.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging governance trends to proactively adapt policies and strategies.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and team members to craft standard methodologies for governance.
  • Define and track important metrics to measure the efficiency of AI governance initiatives.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Law, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with database technologies and understanding of AI architecture, AI modeling, and AI transformation methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI governance, data governance, compliance, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Understanding of AI governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 38505).
  • Experience with AI governance tools and methodologies - bonus points for DataBricks Unity Catalog.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking abilities.
