Position: Workers' Compensation Attorney (Remote hybrid!)
Job Description
Immediate opening for an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with 5+ years of defense experience for a highly respected, multi-state litigation firm. This position is for the firm's office in Farmington Hills, MI. This is a fantastic opportunity with a hybrid schedule that offers attorneys the ability to work remotely from home part of the week!
Candidate must be licensed to practice law in Michigan!
- Ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, be admitted to practice in Michigan, have a small portable book of business, and a proven track record in:
- Prior experience handling workers' compensation defense files from beginning to end;
- A self-starter capable of handling a full case load;
- Experience handling mediations and taking depositions;
- Embracing and developing client relationships;
- Ability to frequently and directly communicate with clients;
- Excellent verbal and written skills;
- Accurately report time; and
- Generating business for the firm.
- Portable book of business required. Salary commensurate with experience!
