Part-time Travel Agent / Travel Coordinator

Shoreline Destinations is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Travel Coordinator to support the daily operations of our busy travel agency. In this part-time role, you will assist the agency owner with a variety of administrative and travel-related tasks, including booking support, travel insurance processing, transportation arrangements, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with entering and managing client travel bookings in the agency’s CRM system (Vacation CRM)
  • Help prepare and send travel documents and itineraries to clients
  • Coordinate ground transportation and other trip components as needed
  • Research and assist with quoting and processing travel insurance policies
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm or adjust reservations
  • Monitor deadlines and payment schedules for client bookings
  • Respond to client emails with basic information or updates, as directed
  • Perform general administrative duties such as calendar management, file organization, and email follow-up

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience providing administrative support in the travel industry or working as a Travel Advisor. (REQUIRED)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with basic office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Ability to learn and use travel-specific software (training provided)
  • Clear, professional written communication skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently
  • Comfortable handling confidential information and client data

Experience with travel platforms and suppliers, such as the following:

  • Classic Vacations (REQUIRED)
  • Vacation CRM (REQUIRED)
  • ALGV/VAX
  • Project Expedition
  • Travefy (a bonus!)
  • Familiarity with DMCs, tour operators, and global cruise suppliers
  • Disney travel products and systems
  • Familiarity with travel insurance products and policies

This is a contractor/part-time position, ideal for someone looking to contribute to a dynamic, client-focused travel business with flexible hours.
