National Louis University’s LE3 Program is currently seeking Adjunct Faculty to join our Undergraduate Innovation - LE3 Program team for our 2025 Terms.

About the LE3 Program

The Learn and Earn in 3 (LE3) program is a bold reimagining of the undergraduate experience for full-time working adults. Students complete a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Development in just 2.5–3 years while gaining real-time workplace experience. LE3 faculty are more than instructors—they are professional coaches, guides, and partners in student success.

Position Overview

We are seeking innovative, student-centered professionals to serve as Adjunct Faculty-Coaches This dual-role position combines instructional duties with student coaching responsibilities You will facilitate at least one 4-week online course throughout a 12-week quarter.

The ideal candidate is a strong facilitator with professional experience and a coaching mindset, capable of building trust, guiding reflection, comfortable using digital tools, and passionate about supporting the growth of diverse, working adult learners.

Responsibilites:

    Instructional (at least 4 weeks per quarter)
  • Lead one live virtual class per week (typically evenings).
  • Engage students through personalized outreach, discussion board feedback, and active learning techniques.
  • Facilitate at least one 4-week hybrid course using a provided asynchronous curriculum, detailed rubrics, and durable skills assignments.
  • Lead one live virtual class session per week (typically evenings) to foster community, clarify concepts, and engage students in active learning.
  • Engage students through discussion boards, personalized outreach, and real-time feedback.
  • Assess and grade student work consistently using provided rubrics. Assess student work with clarity and consistency using provided rubrics and grading tools.
    As a Coach (Weeks 1–12)
  • Provide group coaching for a select number of students approximately 2x per month.
  • Apply the GRoW coaching model to help students set and achieve personal, academic, and career goals.
  • Use diagnostic tools and reflections to adjust coaching frequency and content over time.
  • Collaborate with RISE Coaches and other adjuncts to ensure seamless, high-touch support.
  • Track student progress using Slack, D2L, and Retain.
    Collaborative & Administrative
  • Reflect on student trends and share insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Co-lead one monthly 2-hour Leadership Lab with 2–3 hours of prep time.
  • Participate in weekly 1-hour team meetings with LE3 instructors and coaches.
  • Track student progress using D2L (LMS) and Slack.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless, high-touch student support experience across the program.

Qualifications:

    Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Organizational Leadership, Business, Psychology, Education, Communication, Human Resources)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in leadership, facilitation, workforce development, or adult learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse, working adult learners.
  • Comfort with digital tools (Zoom, D2L, Slack, etc.)
    Preferred
  • Postsecondary teaching experience, particularly in online or hybrid formats.
  • Coaching certification or formal training in mentoring/advising.
  • Familiarity with work-integrated learning or experiential education models.
