We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our team on an ongoing contract basis. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of designing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive growth and enhance brand presence. This role will be 100% remote and average between 15-25 hours per week; shaping marketing initiatives in a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead the creation of engaging content, including newsletters, blog posts, and LinkedIn updates, to enhance brand visibility.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on paid LinkedIn advertising and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights to optimize B2B marketing channels and sales funnels.
  • Collaborate with senior strategy and copywriting teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish governance and accountability frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on branding, sustainability, and channel marketing approaches.
  • Foster innovation by identifying opportunities for growth within service-based business models.
  • Act as a quick study to understand the company’s unique industry and competitive landscape.
  • Support senior management in developing marketing materials for RFPs and other business development activities.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, brand marketing, and marketing strategy.
  • Expertise in managing integrated marketing campaigns and designing sales funnels.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn advertising and digital media campaign management.
  • Strong background in B2B marketing, particularly within service-oriented industries.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated skills in governance, accountability, and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at analyzing market trends and translating insights into actionable strategies.
