Part-Time Software Application Tester
Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Part-Time Software Application Tester in San Luis Obispo, CA. As a Part-Time Software Application Tester you will perform independent verification & validation of requirements by creating, running, and evaluating manual and automated tests. You will document defects and confirm their resolution.
- Position Responsibilities:
- Supports the development of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the creation and execution of manual & automated test cases to verify software performance and function
- Identifies and documents defects
- Collects, inputs, and analyzes data for software metrics of limited scope and complexity using established procedures
- Uses software tools to troubleshoot problems
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Software troubleshooting experience
- Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Enrolled in or completed Higher Education
- STEM background, technical writing
- Software programming/scripting experience
