We are currently seeking applicants for a Mortgage Post Closing Manager. This is a remote position. We are requiring a manager with at least three years of management experience for this role.

    Qualified Candidates’ Expectations:
  • Manage daily workflow across all post-closing departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Oversee communication with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding post-closing statuses, deficiencies, and document requirements.
  • Monitor productivity and quality metrics; ensure team performance meets or exceeds company standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and compliance.
  • Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for post-closing staff to maintain regulatory and investor guideline knowledge.
  • Review and resolve post-closing purchase deficiencies, government insuring issues, and quality control findings.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for post-closing processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with compliance, underwriting, and secondary marketing teams as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Required Education, Experience & Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage post-closing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage operations, including shipping, investor delivery, and collateral management.
  • Working knowledge of Encompass LOS (preferred), Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Customer-focused with a team-oriented approach.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
    Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Knowledge of lending regulations, including RESPA, TILA, TRID, and other federal/state guidelines.
  • Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA loan delivery and insuring requirements.
  • Experience with mortgage banking policies and secondary market procedures.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to regulatory changes and evolving investor requirements.
  • Experience in responding to agency audits, QC findings, and post-purchase conditions.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to lead cross-functional initiatives.
    Hours:
  • Primarily, Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00
  • Possible overtime & weekends

This position reports to the Mortgage Director of Operations.
