Property Condition Assessment Project Manager
- Description:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality control throughout each project's life cycle.
- Coordinate the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan.
- Cultivate strong relationships with team members and clients to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
- Mentor staff and adapt to various technical disciplines as needed.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) reviews of commercial Property and Facility Condition Assessments.
- Engage with subcontractors and field staff, monitor project progress, and maintain client communication.
- Clearly communicate project expectations to team members and staff.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to relationship managers and clients, considering the impact on the transaction process.
- Identify and resolve project issues, deliver progress reports, and manage client follow-up and concerns.
- Delegate tasks to appropriate team members and coordinate responses to client requests for scope changes.
- Facilitate the delivery of final reports and invoices.
- Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, Construction Management, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, and/or construction/cost estimating
- 3+ years of experience performing and/or reviewing property inspection reports
- 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions.
- Extensive knowledge of ASTM-2018 and the Property Condition Report Assessment process.
- Specific experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac report formats.
- Experience with pre-acquisition PCA due diligence reporting is a plus.
- Familiarity with the basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, including construction and maintenance of structures and systems.
- Understand concepts of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, and replacement costs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and deliver quality results on time.
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team.
- Working knowledge of Quire (reporting writing platform).
