For the 2025–2026 school year, we invite you to join a dedicated team in Mount Prospect, IL. Working with 4th and 5th grade students, you’ll teach all core subjects while students also participate in daily specials — creating a balanced, engaging learning experience. This role isn’t just about instruction; it’s about collaboration, creativity, and building plans together to truly meet each student’s needs.

- Location: Mount Prospect, IL (specific school site shared during interview)
- Grade levels: 4th and 5th grade
- Subjects: All core academic areas; students will also attend specials daily
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full 2025–2026 school year
- Hours: Full?time, onsite
- What You’ll Do Every Day
- Deliver individualized, evidence?based instruction tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Serve as the case manager for students, leading IEP development and monitoring behavior plans
- Collaborate closely with therapists and team members to co?create accommodations, supports, and behavior strategies
- Provide direct academic and behavioral support to help students build independence and self?confidence
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation to ensure compliance and measure progress
- Foster a classroom environment where every student feels respected, engaged, and encouraged to grow

- Who We’re Looking For
- Active Illinois Special Education teaching license (or eligibility by the start date)
- Experience working with students in upper elementary grades preferred
- Strong communication, classroom management, and teamwork skills
