Minimum 1+ years teaching experience required.
A virtual position is available for an experienced American Sign Language (ASL) teacher to instruct high school students in levels 1 through 3. This full-time contract role will last from September 5th through June 26, 2026, and is based in Upstate New York.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging virtual ASL lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance the online learning experience.
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and school administrators.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations.
- Qualifications:
- Valid New York State teaching certification in ASL.
- Proven experience teaching American Sign Language at the high school level.
- Strong ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual learning environment.
