Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Human Resource Service Partner will use extensive knowledge and skills obtained through experience and training to assist in developing and implementing HR practices, procedures, and solutions for the clients being supported in the assigned regions. Works with sales to onboard new clients and build and maintain client relationships. Takes part in guiding Transformational HR strategy and solutions for the clients being supported.
- Job Duties
- Work with the HR Partner Team to support the execution of human resources plans and practices.
- Interact directly with clients in the areas of employee relations, compensation administration, benefits, talent acquisition, and organization talent development.
- Provide input and support for the preparation of employee policies and procedures.
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives, processes, and systems.
- Refine knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement of HR services and processes and assist the team with development and implementation.
- Assist the partner team with specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of legal requirements as well as state and federal regulations that impact human resource functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Partner with key stakeholders’ partners with HR-related processes and provide ongoing updates/reports.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, specific leave of absence support, employee separations, and risk consulting.
- Conduct employee investigations, including interviews, data gathering, results and delivery (in coordination with other senior HR team members).
- Provide ad hoc training to the client management team in areas such as compliance, employee engagement and development, and leadership.
- Create reports utilizing HR metrics and conduct analytics on human capital data for trend identification.
- Guide benefit plan design and employee enrichment programs.
- Participate in all department staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
- Ensure all employee matters are handled with consistency and fairness without discrimination.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Required Skills

- Principles, practices, and procedures of human resources administration associated with employment; compensation and classification; and employee development.
- Broad knowledge of all functions that reside under the HR umbrella.
- Legal requirements and federal and state regulations related to employment.
- Facilitation and presentation methods and techniques.
- Statistical methods, concepts, and other analytical tools used in human resource processes.
- Interviewing and candidate evaluation processes.
- Delivering clear and effective presentations.
- Analysis of a myriad of HR data and ability to draw conclusions based on the data.
- Interpret and apply state and federal statutes and applicable rules and regulations to moderately complex human resource issues and problems.
- Provide appropriate recommendations for the resolution of simple/moderately complex employment and employee relations issues.
- Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Keep all appropriate parties up to date on decisions, changes, and other relevant information.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Proficient in client relationship management tools, virtual meeting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Use video conferencing tools with staff, clients on a daily basis.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience.
- Or, minimum seven (7) years of human resources experience.
- Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to participate in video conferences/meetings.
