Senior Vice President Finance
Overview
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance is responsible for delivering high-quality financial leadership across an assigned portfolio of hotels. This executive role provides strategic guidance, direction, and hands-on support to ensure the financial integrity, compliance, and profitability of each property. The role serves as a key business partner to Highgate’s operations teams and senior leadership, ensuring timely delivery of accurate and relevant financial information to support data-driven decision-making.
The role reports to the EVP of Finance and ensures robust internal controls are in place and function effectively to mitigate risk, maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and uphold adherence to Highgate’s internal policies and procedures. This includes identifying potential financial or operational risks and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Human Resources—to proactively address and resolve issues. Additionally, this leadership role acts as a financial steward for ownership groups and investors, ensuring transparency, accountability, and protection of assets. This role also plays a key part in talent development within the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring that strong financial leadership is present at every hotel in the portfolio
