Position Summary:
The Sr. Financial Analyst will develop detailed financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues. They will also have the ability to analyze a variety of financial scenarios to support all departments of the business and build accurate reports and provide insightful analysis to key decision makers.
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete store level and enterprise reporting and analysis by gathering information from various data sources and assimilating it into reports as requested or on a regular basis.
- Provide consistent reporting to the operations department, specifically with the Operations Scorecard, benchmarking tools, loss-prevention reporting, and other requested reports.
- Work with Business Intelligence and Information Technology teams to develop new reports, dashboards and store-level tools, while also providing enhancements to current reports & tools.
- Present detailed insights to operations leaders and key decision makers after carefully reviewing all prepared reports.
- Identify and analyze key metrics that are impacting overall store performance.
- Prepare thorough analyses of markets and franchise groups, working with operations team leaders to develop action plans, targets and recommendations for store improvement.
- Recognize data needs of stores and operators and educate franchisees and store employees on relevant new reports and features within a continuously evolving POS system.
- Work with customer experience team to identify key survey response categories and recognize correlations with sales and operations metrics.
- Develop and enhance enterprise-level loss prevention reporting with a focus on store-level actionability.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role in finance and accounting, or business management
- Preferred:
- MBA or CPA preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and/or database structures
- Experience supporting restaurants or retail stores is a plus.
- Physical Requirement(s):
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Travel to home office in Toledo, OH quarterly.
- Critical Competencies:
- Experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, profitability analysis and/or auditing techniques
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or expectations to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
- Comfortability with presenting to internal and external partners
- Knowledge of the link between analysis and business impact
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word
