Role Description
- CDK Global is looking for a Sales Trainer to join our growing sales enablement and sales operations team. We are looking for an experienced agile-minded, strategic thinking, problem-solving sales trainer that will drive revenue and growth for the organization by enabling CDK Sales and account team members to sell the CDK portfolio of solutions. In this role, you will act as an Ambassador for Sales teams across North America to ensure that our sales and account teams are unified in a single selling motion.
- Strong and confident skills with instructor-led training, presentation, group facilitation, coaching, and performance management to enable field sales executives and account teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, processes, and methodologies including methods and techniques used in training assessment, design, development, and measurement.
- Proven success coaching sales reps in the field to achieve and exceed quotas with measurable impact.
- A solid understanding of value-based selling process, MEDDPICC, challenger, or similar methodologies.
- Work in one-on-one sessions with sales reps to identify their strengths and weaknesses in order to help them achieve their personal and professional goals.
- Facilitate, coach, and train new sales hires through onboarding and sales training.
- Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of foundational acumen of automotive retail / dealership operations.
- Experience designing, building, and delivering tailored sales development programs.
- Experience facilitating small to large training groups, providing learner coaching and development feedback, and partnering with learner’s managers to consult on future development of learner.
- Team player – ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders (sales operations, sales, marketing, product marketing) on multi-faceted projects.
- Proven 4+ years sales training experience – onboarding or ongoing training.
- 2+ years SaaS field sales experience.
- Familiarity with complex sales processes and methodologies.
- Ability to travel 25% or less on a monthly basis.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in Adult learning, Learning design a plus.

Salary Range
$72,000 - $90,500 + Bonus
