Membership Support Services Assistant
The Support Services Assistant is responsible for screening, routing, and tracking inquiries and work assignments received through email and fax within the Membership department. This role also manages incoming hotline calls, ensures timely resolution by notifying appropriate staff, and provides administrative support across all Membership functions.

Compensation

What you'll do
- Responsibilities:
- Screen, route, and track incoming work assignments and inquiries.
- Review and assign work items to the appropriate team.
- Manage and respond to Membership email conference messages.
- Answer and triage calls received through the Membership Hotline.
- Enter and route inquiries using internal systems such as BluePrints.
- Utilize various support systems including document management and email platforms.
- Maintain and update procedures and documentation as needed.
- Perform data entry and generate reports as requested.
- Provide general administrative support to all areas of Membership.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you need
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to use sound judgment in decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong data entry and telephone handling skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with information security standards.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with data entry required.
- 1 year of experience in Membership or Customer Service with exposure to multiple lines of business preferred.
- 24 credit hours in business, communication, logic, accounting, or mathematics preferred.
- Experience with internal systems such as document management and inquiry tracking tools preferred.
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 95% of the day).
- Must be able to work until 4:30 PM on a rotating basis to support hotline coverage.
