About the Role:
What you'll do:
- Work directly with our Director of Community Programs and VP of Strategy Business Development to expand our 4 Minute City and PAD+ programs into new communities by: 1.) Identifying and prospecting for new customers, reaching out to potential leads, and leveraging personal networks. 2.) Growing and managing a diverse pipeline of business opportunities spanning multiple regions, sizes, and stages.
- Regularly travel to prospective customers to deliver presentations, and drive business to a close.
- Provide internal consultation to, and work alongside members of the Avive sales organization in the pursuit of new business.
- Build relationships with a wide variety of people, across multiple sectors and mediums including government, First Responders, 911 telecommunicators, and local hospital leadership.
- Participate in the ongoing development of our sales process, providing meaningful feedback to company leadership on areas where we can improve our approach.
- Drive communities towards excellence in resuscitation, helping them to adopt our program in the name of our commitment to positively impacting survivability from Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
Who you are:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in complex sales involving multiple stakeholders including local government, first responders, and local hospitals.
- Deep experience performing in-person sales presentations and demonstrating software and hardware products.
- Willingness to dive into new projects, overcome setbacks, drive towards solutions, and scale your successful efforts.
- Proficiency or ability to develop proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other tools and programs necessary in the execution of your essential duties.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and leadership skills with a problem-solving ability.
- Curious, adaptable, and coachable, not afraid to learn about new tools, systems, and best practices that might incorporate to help our team constantly improve.
- Flexible and patient. You know that new companies constantly grow and change, so reports run today might look different tomorrow.
- An active listener, great at relationship building, overcoming objections tactfully, finding creative solutions to challenges.
- Passionate about our mission of saving lives.
Bonus points for:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field or subject
- On the ground experience as a First Responder, including but not limited to law enforcement, Fire, EMS, and 911 telecommunications
- Experience in grant writing
- Experience in people management
