Software Sales Executive
Symmetrio is seeking a Software Sales Executive for its client, a multinational medical device company. We are looking for a results-driven sales leader with extensive experience in enterprise software sales, particularly within healthcare systems, oncology centers, and hospital networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing high-value deals and fostering long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare industry.
This position covers the Southeastern U.S., offering a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) package of $230K–$240K, with an anticipated travel commitment of approximately 40%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans targeting hospital systems and cancer centers to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
- Build, nurture, and expand strategic relationships with executives, clinical leaders, and decision-makers within healthcare organizations.
- Lead the entire sales process from lead generation and qualification through contract negotiation and closure, often with multi-year agreements.
- Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with product management, marketing, and technical teams to align offerings with market needs and ensure successful implementations.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to executive leadership.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines in the healthcare space.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of software sales experience, with at least 5 years selling enterprise solutions to healthcare providers, hospital systems, or oncology centers.
- Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing complex sales cycles with high-value contracts.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, regulatory environments, and the challenges faced by clinical and administrative leaders.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software solutions related to medical imaging, oncology treatment planning, or clinical data management is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to meet clients and attend industry events.
