Head of Project and Process Engineering
- Description:
- Lead and manage a team of project engineers, process engineers, and equipment engineers
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to optimize project execution
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure all projects meet the highest quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project processes, tools, and methodologies
- Mentor and develop the project engineering team
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, or a related field
- 10-15 years of experience in engineering project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong technical background in engineering principles and practices, dairy industry experience is preferred
- Proven ability to lead & inspire a team of engineers and project managers
- Occasional travel to equipment suppliers and other Chobani sites is required
- Extensive experience in managing complex engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- PMP, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are a plus
