School Health Nurse Full-Time RN Opportunity | Near Hilton Head Island, SC
Blazer Jobs is now hiring a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide health services to students at Bluffton High School in Bluffton, South Carolina. This is a full-time, onsite position for the 2025–2026 school year, perfect for a nurse passionate about supporting student success.
Location Insight:
The distance from Bluffton, SC to Hilton Head Island, SC is approximately 8 miles by road, which translates to just a 15–20 minute drive
- Responsibilities Include:
- Administer daily and emergency student health services
- Support chronic condition management (diabetes, asthma, etc.)
- Maintain up-to-date immunization and health records
- Provide first aid and triage care to students and staff
- Participate in IEP/504 planning and health assessments
- Serve as a liaison between school, family, and healthcare providers
- Required Credentials:
- Valid South Carolina RN License
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred
- Familiarity with FERPA, IEPs, and school health documentation protocols
- Must pass background check and fingerprinting as required by state and district
