VP of Business Transformation

Brief Description

    The VP of Business Transformation is to bridge strategic innovation and operational delivery by embedding digital capabilities, human-centered design, and AI-driven solutions into Sierra7's core service areas, while advancing the company's profile as a leading partner to federal health agencies. This senior-level position will be part of the Growth Team and will report to the Chief Strategy and Technology Officer. The VP of Business Transformation will collaborate with the Operations Teams to drive strategic initiatives and lead the transformational efforts within the organization and will lead mission-focused digital transformation across Sierra7’s federal health and technology portfolios.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business transformation strategy to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and improve financial performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and executing transformational initiatives across all departments.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to align business transformation efforts with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Drive change management initiatives and ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Evaluate existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and drive business transformation.
  • Support pipeline development and qualification of opportunities to align with the company’s growth strategy.
  • Lead strategic captures and support business development efforts including solution development, proposal authoring, reviews and recovery efforts, etc.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to teams involved in the business transformation process, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to track the progress and success of business transformation initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in business transformation methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in customer experience and implement new initiatives.
  • Leverage customer insights to support business growth and expansion.
  • In collaboration with Senior leadership such as VA, DHA and DoD, will lead ideation and development of new service offerings in AI/ML, intelligent automation, digital experience (DX), and data-driven decision support
  • Serve as an advisor and key growth contributor on key accounts, ensuring strategic alignment of delivery with client's mission.
  • Integrate human-centered design (HCD), journey mapping, and digital accessibility best practices into delivery pipelines.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with platform providers (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, AWS, Microsoft).
  • Lead Sierra7’s participation in innovation labs, accelerators, and public-private challenge initiatives.

Requirements

    Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in business transformation.
    Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. MBA or a relevant master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior management roles, with a focus on business transformation and change management.
    Physical Requirements
  • Lift, push, pull up to 15 lbs.
  • Some long periods of sitting/standing
  • Travel required up to 25%

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Sierra7 varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is: $210,000 - $230,000 USD
