About the Role

We're looking for a high-energy, results-driven Student Success Manager (SSM) to guide our coaching students through their growth journey. This isn't your typical support role—it's a pseudo-sales + accountability position focused on ensuring students stay committed, engaged, and aligned with the goals they set when they joined.

Your mission: keep students plugged in, eliminate excuses, and challenge disengagement. You'll combine coaching, tough love, and re-enrollment strategies to help students own their success and prevent churn.

What You'll Do

    Onboarding & Orientation
  • Lead dynamic group onboarding sessions for new students.
  • Set clear expectations, goals, and accountability structures from day one.
  • Build initial momentum by establishing a success-oriented mindset.
    Student Engagement & Accountability
  • Conduct live 1:1 calls with each student at least every 3 weeks.
  • Challenge excuses and eliminate hesitation or limiting beliefs.
  • Reaffirm commitments, enforce accountability, and keep students emotionally and tactically engaged.
  • Offer personalized guidance while holding a high standard—never coddling, always coaching.
    Portfolio Management & Retention
  • Manage a portfolio of students through the full lifecycle of the program.
  • Track student progress, proactively address obstacles, and drive long-term retention.
  • Master the art of re-enrollment—reselling students on their own vision and the power of follow-through.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align support and coaching delivery.
    Drive Student Outcomes
  • Maintain and improve key metrics:
  • Student engagement rate
  • Student attrition rate
  • Satisfaction scores & testimonials
  • Referrals & community activity
    Community Building
  • Foster a positive student community through events, forums, and active participation.
  • Address any student or group concerns with speed, confidence, and resolution-oriented leadership.
    What You Bring
  • Proven experience in sales, coaching, customer success, or account management
  • Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence to challenge and confront students while staying empathetic and empowering
  • High personal discipline and organization—you'll manage dozens of students without missing a beat
  • A genuine passion for growth, business coaching, and personal development
    Bonus Points For
  • Experience in mortgage, real estate, or coaching industries
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Zoom, Slack, and task management platforms
  • Background in performance psychology or behavioral coaching
