Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will facilitate agile project management processes, ensuring that teams adhere to Scrum principles and practices. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in guiding teams through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement within the organization.
- Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Coach team members on Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework to enhance performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring clear requirements gathering and understanding of project goals.
- Assist in negotiating project scope and timelines with stakeholders while managing expectations effectively.
- Monitor team progress through metrics and reporting tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Support the development of test cases and ensure quality assurance processes are integrated into the workflow.
- Maintain documentation using tools such as Word and Visio to track project progress, decisions made, and changes in requirements.
- Engage with IT governance frameworks to align project outcomes with organizational objectives.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
- Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC principles and Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum practices.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Visio for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks that guide project management processes.
- Familiarity with databases to support data-driven decision-making within projects.
- Excellent negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Experience in developing test cases that align with project requirements.
- Strong capabilities in requirements gathering to ensure clarity in project objectives.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components relevant to software development projects.
