A highly regarded school district near Anchorage, Alaska is hiring a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. - Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations; complete thorough documentation and reports
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
- Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Alaska SLP License (or ability to obtain before start)
- Alaska Educator Certification (required to provide school-based services in AK)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
