ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS: Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows: Link/loop and hang product on various lines. Correctly identify different types of products by placing the corresponding ID tag on sticks. Obtain ready to use sticks (in carts) from the stickwash area to use once the line is operational. Open rework. Assist with set-up / shut down procedures. Remove trash from line before breaks. Identify, dispose of and weight any inedible product. Report weight to supervisor/lead. Follow GMPs, Safety and Quality Assurance rules and procedures. Must wear required PPE. Ensure proper housekeeping throughout shift. Report any concerns to a member of management. Must be certified to operate any PIT. Must be LTT certified and follow all LTT procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or GED; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to physically perform 8 and 10 hours a day. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. When the employee is required to perform duties in the production area, the employee will be continuously exposed to temperatures ranging from 35 – 90 degrees. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is sufficient to cause the worker to shout to be heard above the ambient noise level. Personal Protective Equipment is required.
