VocoVision is currently looking for a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide remote instruction to PreK12 students across a California county school district for the 20252026 school year.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual DHH services to students at various school sites (itinerant model)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to support student learning
- Customize instruction based on individual student needs and IEPs
- Qualifications:
- Active California teaching credential (CTC) with appropriate DHH certification
- Masters degree in Deaf Education or a related discipline
- Previous experience with virtual teaching is preferred
- Liability insurance is required for all 1099 contractor roles
- Position Summary:
- Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Hours: Full-time, 30+ hours per week
- Schedule: MondayFriday
- Start: Fall 2025
