About the Role:

Our client is seeking highly skilled and experienced freight & logistics professionals who possess the ability to sell, scale, and deliver margin from day one. This role is tailored for individuals who thrive in a cradle-to-grave sales model, handling every aspect of the sales cycle from lead generation to shipment delivery and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new customers, ensuring continuous revenue growth.

Account Management: Maintain and expand existing relationships with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.

Cradle-to-Grave Sales: Oversee the entire freight process from initial sale to delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

Negotiation & Pricing: Develop strategic pricing structures that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

Market Expansion: Leverage industry knowledge and professional networks to expand reach across Domestic, Canada, and Mexico.

Operational Coordination: Ensure efficient handling of shipments, troubleshooting challenges, and optimizing logistics solutions for clients.

Compliance & Regulations: Stay updated on transportation laws, trade regulations, and industry best practices to ensure smooth operations.

Performance Metrics: Track sales performance, margin growth, and operational efficiency, setting ambitious but achievable goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in selling and scaling a freight and logistics business with measurable margin growth.

Industry Experience: Deep understanding of FTL and LTL freight movement across North America, including Domestic, Canada, and Mexico.

Established Book of Business: Ability to bring a solid portfolio of loyal customers with immediate revenue impact.

Logistics Strategy: Expertise in freight brokerage, transportation management, and logistics optimization.

Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to structure deals that benefit both the company and its clients.

Entrepreneurial Drive: Self-motivated with a desire to build and expand a profitable logistics operation.

Additional Information:

Must work East Coast hours.

No non-compete/non-solicit agreements.
