Supervisor, Accounts Receivable Escalation
- Description:
- Oversee accounts receivable department
- Manage a team of AR specialists
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and claims processing
- Optimize accounts receivable processes
- Monitor KPIs related to accounts receivable
- Manage payment posting activities
- Coordinate denial management efforts
- Collaborate with other departments
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and industry trends
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
- Foster a positive work environment
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated AR issues
- Keep accurate records of AR activities
- Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
- AAHAM Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS), Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP), or HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification is a plus.
- Previous leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables), and database software skills
- In-depth knowledge of medical billing processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in healthcare revenue cycle management software.
