Immigration Attorney - Green Card Services
- Description:
- Join a team assisting clients with US immigration processes.
- Help companies and their international employees navigate immigration matters.
- Prepare and file green card applications.
- Collaborate with Attorneys and Case Managers.
- Keep informed on immigration law developments.
- Conduct in-depth client conversations to explain visa processes.
- Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working in the employment-based immigration field as an attorney.
- Experience including preparing I-140 immigration petitions & I-485 Adjustment of Status applications is preferable but not required.
- Familiarity with the interplay between PERM Labor Certification concepts, nonimmigrant status concepts and I-140, Adjustment of Status and Immigrant Visa concepts.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a busy caseload in an efficient manner and consistent with numerous inflexible legal deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate professionally and effectively with team members.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to break down complex legal concepts into language that is easy for clients to understand.
- Possess patience to conduct frequent, and sometimes somewhat repetitive, educational correspondence and/or calls with clients summarizing their application processes and answering their questions.
- High level of attention to detail, emotional intelligence, and empathy.
- Ability to deliver highly responsive and proactive client service.
