Job Summary
The Clinic Liaison plays a vital role in our large, referral-based retina practice by serving as a point of contact between CRC and referring providers. This position is responsible for maintaining a strong referral network with a primary focus on optometric, ophthalmic services, and engaging with a variety of other healthcare providers such as primary care and specialists across multiple sites throughout Central California.
Key responsibilities include fostering relationships with existing referral sources, identifying and pursuing new referral opportunities, and educating providers about CRC's services. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a strong follow-through.
- Duties / Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of clinic outreach and growth efforts, including acquiring new referral sources, follow-up calls, and nurturing existing relationships with referral providers.
- Regularly coordinate interactions between referring providers and CRC physicians, including lunches, dinners, and Continuing Education (CE) meetings.
- Establish and track goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Act as a point of contact for referring providers, responding promptly to non-clinical inquiries, concerns, and requests for information during reasonable office hours.
- Collect feedback from referring providers and address areas of concern in collaboration with clinic administrators and physicians as necessary.
- Identify areas for improvement in clinic processes, patient care delivery, and customer service.
- Organize and represent CRC at community events and health fairs to promote services and raise awareness.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships to enhance patient care and support services.
- Ensure all referral and outreach activities comply with applicable state and federal laws and regulations by maintaining appropriate documentation and partnering with Compliance and Practice Administrators to uphold ethical engagement standards.
- Take on additional tasks as necessary.
- Performance Measurements:
- Maintenance of existing referral base.
- Growth in referrals and revenue.
- Adherence to the employee standard of conduct.
- Effectiveness in furthering the goals and initiatives of CRC, both current and long-term.
