Social Media Community Lead - Part Time | Remote | Ideally EST Time Zone - Contract to Hire
We are looking for a Social Media Community Lead to join our team and who will grow our social media presence and build closer connections with and between members of our community. This role will create and implement exciting new initiatives for our community on our social accounts (currently Instagram and Facebook and hoping to expand to TikTok). This role is perfect for someone who is eager to join an established, but small luxury skincare brand, helping to envision new and creative ways to engage with our audience.
You should have an interest in being on the front lines with people who are part of the Cellcosmet community or share our commitment to skin health. You will be engaging with, amplifying, and celebrating a brand that is changing the way skincare is formulated and works.

A luxury skincare brand, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, with over 3 decades of cosmetic science devoted to creating targeted products that address how our skin cells age and how best to protect and revitalize the complexion and skin microbiome. Products are sold direct to consumer on our website, and at specialty retailers and spas, globally.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow Cellcosmet US social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok; engage with our followers and explore new opportunities on other platforms (i.e, Reddit, Pinterest, etc).
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy. You will be responsible for helping to breathe social-first thinking into everything we do.
- Help to design and implement platform-specific content that aligns with overall Cellcosmet business goals (e.g., awareness, lead generation, engagement, UGC, learn more about our customer, cultivate creator relations, and conversions) while aligning with the brand’s narrative, personality, and tone.
- (Really Nice to Have) Create photography, video, and/or graphics for social.
- Collaborate with creative as needed on creation of diverse content.
- Build out and update social media content publishing calendar, obtaining approval from key stakeholders. Use brand guidance to write copy, ensuring content is informative and appealing.
- Ensure questions, comments and related opportunities are handled with a well- executed, high-touch experience. Collaborate with Customer Service on questions relating to order inquiry, website problems, or product consultation
- Serve as a liaison between followers, and our team to share insights and ideas for understanding our audience and content for creation.
- Identify and cultivate brand creators and micro influencers to help drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and YTD reporting and analysis of social KPIs, including follower growth, engagement, conversation amplification, creative performance, UGC growth, and identifying potential new leads to cultivate across social platform
We require that you have
- 5+ years experience growing social media channels and managing online communities especially in beauty (skincare), or health and wellness, and other lifestyle categories.
- Hands on experience with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Experience launching community-driven initiatives (i.e., live events, contests, etc.)
- Ability to identify, set goals for, and track relevant social media and community metrics
and manage a social media calendar.
- Experience running influencer and creator campaigns and how they can be used to extend brand reach and awareness.
- (Really Nice to Have) Ability to create photography, video, and/or graphics for social.
- You are an organized planner who can work independently with deadlines and create new systems and processes to help us be more efficient.
- You are a good listener who can empathize with our users, manage user feedback, be responsive, and offer support so that we can improve the user experience for our community.
- You are an excellent communicator, strong writer, creative and collaborative with a willingness to iterate, take and learn from feedback. Graphics, video, and editorial/ visual skills a big plus!
- Are a fluent English speaker and writer
- Experiencing using social discovery, tracking and planning tools (i.e., Sprout, Later, Hubspot, and other social tools.) as well as Google Analytics.
Employment Type
- Part Time, estimated 20-25+ hours per week. Flexible with candidate experience and availability.
- This remote role is freelance to start with the opportunity to turn into a larger role.
