Senior Web Application Developer - Medical Imaging

As a Senior Web Application Developer focused on medical imaging, you will play a key role in developing advanced, interactive 3D web applications that revolutionize cardiac care. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create scalable, cloud-based platforms for visualizing medical data. This is a high-impact position for a seasoned developer with strong expertise in modern frameworks, 3D visualization, and cloud services. - Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications for manipulating and reviewing 3D medical images.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and algorithm engineers.
- Lead or contribute to cloud-based infrastructure maintenance and optimization.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, and modern frameworks like Vue.js.
- Develop and validate image processing algorithms and integrate them into web services.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices through code reviews and team discussions.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and support production applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Drive the release lifecycle of front-end components with a focus on quality and scalability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience in web application development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and familiarity with Python.
- Experience with Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with WebGL or equivalent 3D graphics libraries.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD, agile methodologies, and software testing best practices.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Experience with medical imaging, AWS or similar cloud platforms, C++17+, or Rust.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $165,000 to $220,000 (San Francisco Bay Area).
