Sr AI/ML Engineer

At 3Pillar, we leverage cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions for our clients. As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable ML systems and provide technical mentorship to junior team members. You’ll also evaluate model architectures, explore cutting-edge techniques, and ensure solutions are both impactful and ethical.The tech stack we are using at the moment:

Key Responsibilities:

An excellent API Python Dev with 5+ years experience developing production solutions (i.e. security, performance, scalability, best practices, etc.)

Solid API experience (i.e. FastAPI)

Solid DB Experience (i.e. SQL)

Cloud Experience: Preferable Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, etc.

1-2 years experience of implementing GenAI in a production context (very important to have production experience and not simply PoCs).

Excellent problem solving in the context of GenAI projects

GenAI application evaluation

CI/CD Experience

Good communication skills, personable, adaptable to new ways of working / environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.

A minimum of 4+ years of experience in building AI models with ML, NLP and deep learning; 6+ is desirable.

Google Gemini LLM models

GCP (as mentioned above Vertex AI, Cloud run, Cloud SQL, etc)

Python 3.12+

FastAPI

LangChain (we use it lightly, only some of its utilities but not for LLM interfacing), Native Google GenAI SDK, LangGraph, LangSmith (for some dev evaluation).

Various open source packages depending on the use case needs.

Additional Experience Desired:

Good understanding of Software Engineering processes.

Experience in working with huge datasets in a production environment.

Experience with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone), RAG, Hugging Face.

Contributions to research papers, blogs, or open-source projects.
