Onboarding Specialist
About the Role
The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for engaging and supporting students who are at risk of not enrolling or who have dropped out of the program. This role focuses on proactive outreach, personalized support, and the implementation of strategies to ensure students are successfully onboarded and remain in or return to their academic programs.

Provide Proactive Outreach:
Identify and reach out to students who are at risk of melting (not enrolling) or have dropped out of the program
Utilize phone calls, emails, and SMS to communicate with students, addressing their concerns and providing support
Onboard:
Coordinate with various teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new students and students re-enrolling
Provide ongoing support during the onboarding period to address any questions or concerns students may have
Ensure that all necessary onboarding materials and resources are accessible to new students and students re-enrolling
Follow up with students after the initial onboarding phase to ensure they are settling in well and have the support they need
Provide Student Support:
Provide personalized assistance to students, helping them navigate the post-enrollment process and overcome any barriers to entry
Offer guidance on academic resources, and other support services available to students
Relationship Build:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, acting as their primary point of contact during the onboarding process
Foster a supportive and encouraging environment to increase student engagement and retention
Data Manage:
Track and analyze student data to identify trends and at-risk populations
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and outcomes in the CRM system

Bachelor’s Degree required
You have strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
You have a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to address challenges and optimize processes
You are committed to the mission of Campus and passionate about making education accessible
You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; comfortable with spreadsheets, basic functions, and organizing data.
Location: Remote; Working hours: 10:00AM - 7:00PM PST
What you’ll get:
A compensation package that includes a base salary ($47,000 - $56,000) + equity grant
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary will be localized.
