What You Get to Do:

This position is based in Tempe, Arizona and only candidates within a commutable distance to our Tempe office will be considered.

  • Lead and assist on contract negotiations and management of active contracts for contract terms and renewal periods

  • Drive RFP/RFQ inquiries as needed to assist in evaluating vendor quality, price and service

  • Act as a liaison between vendors and Sequoia in reference to services, products, performance, contract renewals and terminations

  • Create, maintain and log all DocuSign/signature agreements

  • Monitor and respond to Sequoia’s procurement email account

  • Review current contract for any duplicative spend and suggest recommendations for cost savings

  • Document proper processes and procedures for company awareness

  • Process purchase request through Sequoia’s procurement platform (Zip)

  • Generate a weekly open purchase request report.

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement or equivalent roles

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) required (Business or Finance/Accounting preferred)

  • Experience with ownership over procurement functions

  • Experience working with Zip, Brex, Netsuite and other system platforms desirable

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong computer and analytical skills, including high proficiency with Excel

  • Hands-on, team player who possesses a can-do attitude

  • Attention to detail, organized, and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement
